Idol worship
If someone says why Hindus worship idol worship, then tell them the secret of idol worship: -
Swami Vivekananda was summoned by a king to his house and said, "You Hindus worship the idol! Of clay, brass, stone sculpture.! But I do not believe all this. It is just a substance.
Behind the throne of that king was a picture of a man. Vivekananda ji looked at that picture. Vivekananda asked the king, "Raja, whose picture is this?" The king said, "My father's." Swamiji said, "Take that picture in your hand. Raj takes the picture in his hand.
Swamiji to Raja Now spit on that picture. King, "What are you saying, Swamiji? "Swamiji I said spit on that picture.
King (with anger) Swamiji, you are conscious, are you not? I can't do this job. "
Swami ji said, Why This picture is only a piece of paper, and has some color on it. It has neither life,
No voice
Neither can hear it
Nor can I speak
And Swamiji went on speaking,
"There is neither bone nor life in it." Yet you can never spit on it because you see the nature of your father in it. And you feel like disrespecting this picture is disrespecting your father.
After some silence, where is Swami next,
"Similarly, we Hindus also worship those stones, clay, or metal as a form of God.
God is in every particle, but in order to have a basis and to concentrate the mind, we do idol worship.
