Shiva-Parvati Chausar still plays at the Omkareshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh tonight. This Chausar is changed every year on Shivaratri. Then the chaussar-dice board is laid for Shiva and Parvati every night throughout the year.
Once Lord Shankar offered Mata Parvati to play a gaming game with her. In this game Lord Shiva loses everything to Parvati ji. After losing everything in the gaming arena, Lord Shiva goes on the banks of the Ganges wearing a robe of leaves.
Parvati became very worried after seeing this. Mata Parvati told the whole thing to Ganesha. Hearing the agony of the mother, Ganesha himself approaches Lord Shankar, who is gambling.
See Ganesha's Leela, he wins the gaming game from Shivji. He narrates this news to Mata but Mata Parvati is not happy.
She also asks him to bring Shivji with him. Ganesh ji goes in search of Bhole Baba. There, Parvati refuses to return to Bhole Baba, angry with her mother. To help Bholenath, his supreme devotee Ravana takes the form of a cat and drives away the vehicle of Ganesh ji.
Now Lord Vishnu took the form of dice with the wish of Bholenath. Shankarji told Ganesha that if Parvati agrees to gamble with me again, I am ready to go.
Mata Parvati laughed at Shivji's proposal and said that now you have to gamble? Hearing this, Narada ji gave his veena etc. to Shivji.
Now there was Lord Vishnu in the form of dice, so Shiva started winning every game. Karthikeya ji was pleased to be with Lord Shiva.
But Ganeshji understood the trick of this game and told Mata Parvati. On hearing this Parvati ji got angry. Seeing this, Ravana tried to convince Mata Parvati but his anger did not calm down.
In anger, Mother cursed Bholenath that the burden of the Ganges stream would always be on his forehead. Parvati also cursed Narada that he would never be able to stay in one place.
He cursed Lord Vishnu that Ravana would be your enemy. Ravana will be destroyed by Vishnu. Mother Parvati told Karthikeya that she will always remain as a child.
In this way, the playing of the game is not only appropriate for humans as well as God, God also suffered a lot in it.
